1. Does AZ MOTORBIKES offer motorcycle rental services for customers residing and working in Hanoi?
 Yes, if the customer has a valid Visa of at least 6 months. In this case, the contract must be signed for at least 2 months, with a monthly mileage limit of 1000km and not exceeding the specified weight capacity.  For cases where the Visa is limited to 6 months and the rental period is less than 2 months, the rental price will be applied for tourists.

2. Does AZ MOTORBIKES rent out big bikes?
Considering Vietnam’s terrain and carefully evaluating the most suitable motorcycles, we limit our offerings to vehicles with a maximum displacement of 150cc. Our strength lies in the latest 2023 XR 150cc motorcycle fleet, boasting impeccable quality, and accompanied by numerous additional accessories to enhance your journey. This is regarded as the top choice for adventurous trips in Vietnam, with its versatile performance across various types of terrain.

4. Where is your shop?
Currently, AZ MOTORBIKES has relocated to house number 55, Alley 76/35 An Duong, Tay Ho district, and maintains a single branch in Hanoi. However, AZ MOTORBIKES is in the process of expanding its branches to Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

 

 1. Does AZ MOTORBIKES have a rental discount program?
 We offer discounts for tourists if they rent for more than 10 days, up to 30% off the total payment. For customers residing and working in Hanoi, a preferential rate is applied when signing a long-term rental contract.

2. Returns and drop-off locations for motorbikes?
AZ MOTORBIKES has partners in Da Nang, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, even any provinces or city. Customers have the option to return at AZ MOTORBIKES or any of the mentioned locations. However, if the chosen drop-off point is not AZ MOTORBIKES, a $50 fee will be incurred. Customers are required to provide advance notice of the location and return plan when finalizing the contract.
AZ MOTORBIKES will impose a $100 fee if customers fail to give prior notice. In the event that customers wish to change the return address, they must notify us as early as possible to facilitate appropriate arrangements.

3. Border crossing by Motorbike
Crossing borders into Laos and Cambodia is possible. We believe Thailand and further is no longer possible. We have had numerous customers successfully cross borders. To cross borders, you need a motorbike registration (blue card). However, customers are required to place a deposit equal to the value of the motorbike to obtain the motorbike registration certificate. 

4. Is it a good idea to book the motorbike in advance?
YES. As we enter the peak tourist season, we consistently receive a notable number of advance bicycle rental reservations. It would be fantastic if you could send us an advance deposit to secure the best bikes for you. For customers who place advance deposits, we always give them priority. The pre-booking deposit fee for the bike is $50.

5. Does AZ MOTORBIKES have an insurance policy?
YES. We have a rental insurance policy (not included in the rental price) available for both tourists and customers living and working in Hanoi. 6. How much stuff can I carry on my Motorbike?
We recommend around 15 KG of luggage. However, it depends on the model of the motorbike. All of the AZ MOTORBIKEs rental fleets can carry two people and luggage across Vietnam. There are no roads that these motorbikes can not handle. The limitation is in rack space and strength, not the power of the vehicle. We have no major restrictions, but travelers must be responsible for overloading the luggage and breaking racks.

7. What happens if I crash the motorbike?
We have an insurance policy that customers can refer to. In the event that a customer chooses not to use it, if any issues arise with the motorbike, the customer must immediately notify us for proper handling. If the customer independently covers the repair costs without prior notification, we will not assume any responsibility.

8. Does AZ MOTORBIKES have a warranty policy if I choose to buy a motorcycle?
YES. We have a warranty policy ranging from 3 months to 1 year, depending on the type of motorcycle. Additionally, we also offer a buy-back policy of up to 70% of the bike’s value. When purchasing a motorcycle, customers will receive free oil changes, a good helmet, and a phone holder.

 

1. Do your motorcycles come with any accompanying accessories?
Our motorcycles come with several accompanying accessories to support your journey. We understand that these items are essential for a smooth trip for our customers. Additionally, we also offer a highly discounted price for a 3/4 helmet with a protective visor.

2. Do you provide lessons?
We have short video clips demonstrating how to use the motorcycles. You can look them up on our website under the MOTORBIKE VIDEO section. Please make sure to carefully watch the instructional video for the specific type of motorcycle you are interested in, to ensure a quick and effective hands-on experience.

3. What is the best motorbike for traveling Vietnam?

“The best bike” should be understood as a bike that meets the requirements of powerful performance and good handling on all roads. For travel purposes, recommended bikes have a capacity of 125cc or more for scooters. You don’t need to worry about manual or semi-automatic bikes as they handle roads well. Note that for motorbike travel, every 800-1200 … km (depending on the bike type), users need to change the oil.

4. Is the quality of AZ MOTORBIKES’ motorcycles guaranteed?
Each of our motorcycles undergoes regular monthly maintenance. Before customers receive a motorcycle, our mechanics thoroughly inspect it to ensure the highest possible quality. Additionally, the AZ MOTORBIKES team is available to assist you 24/7. If any issues arise with the motorcycle, we will provide specific solutions prioritizing service quality.

AZ MOTORBIKES accepts the following payment methods and deposit options:

  • Cash: We accept payments in USD, EURO, SGD, AUD, and VND.
  • Bank Transfers: We have payment accounts through PayPal and Wise
    ( Noted: Customers who transfer via PayPal will incur a small fee, approximately over 4% of the transferred amount )
  • Credit Cards: A 3% transaction fee will be applied.

When returning the motorbike, we will refund the deposit amount either in Cash. The deposit can only be refunded in VND, USD, or EURO. AZ Motorbikes is not able to return any deposit back onto a card and all deposits must be returned in cash.

Customers will not be refunded the pre-paid amount to AZ Motorbikes for bike reservation if they cancel on their own within 10 days prior to the scheduled bike pickup date.
Returning the motorbike earlier than the time agreed: We will charge you 80% of the rental fee on the remaining days ( In the case of accompanying motorbike insurance, the insurance fee will not be refunded for the remaining days.)

GOOD HELMET
High-quality helmets are provided to ensure the safety of our customers during their journey. We always prioritize the safety of our customers above all else.
PHONE HOLDER
This accessory allows customers to have a well-guided journey. We understand that planning the route can be challenging, especially when visiting unfamiliar places for the first time. That’s why this accessory is considered mandatory for ensuring a smooth and guided trip.
RAINCOAT
The weather in Vietnam during the tourist season is fantastic, but it can also be unpredictable with sudden rain showers.
RACK AND STRAPS
This accessory can be customized according to the customer’s request to suit their luggage weight.

During the rental duration, AZ MOTORBIKES will be responsible for paying all damages that occur to the bike as THE RESULT OF A CRASH. The bike insurance package will not be refunded once an agreement is reached.

The bike insurance package does not cover:

  • 3rd party damages
  • Personal injury
  • Loss/theft
  • Damages through flooding, fire damage, vandalism
  • Transport of motorbikes to AZ Motorbikes office
  • Flat tires and oil changes
  • Luggage racks, including damaged or lost boxes. This includes any personal belongings inside the lost boxes
  • Loss of spare parts ( such as clutch plates and inner tubes…)
  • Damages are caused by animals
